                                                                        IFC Men's Recruitment

Welcome to the Alabama Interfraternity Council (IFC) recruitment registration. This will serve as your launching point for all things related to IFC recruitment. Registration for 2024 IFC Fall Recruitment is the first step in pursuing membership in one of the thirty-six (36) recognized IFC fraternities. By registering for recruitment, your information has been shared with all of our recognized IFC chapters. However, simply registering for recruitment is not the end of the process. We encourage everyone interested in joining one of our chapters to maximize their options by reaching out to chapters that interest them and find a home here at The Capstone.

To complete the online registration form, please click on the "Sign Up for Recruitment" link at the bottom of the page. Once you click on the "Sign Up for Recruitment" link, you will be asked to login through your MyBama. The Alabama Interfraternity Council will be hosting IFC Recruitment Events beginning on August 12, 2024 and continuing through August 17th, 2024. The formal recruitment week will kick off with a IFC Executive Meet-the-team event on August 12th. The IFC Cookout on the Quad will be August 13th foillowed by a Pickleball event on the 14th. These events give an opportunity to meet representatives from all 36 chapters. Later events include invite-only events. During these events, anyone interested in learning about an IFC fraternity may visit a chapter, meet its members, and pursue membership in that organization. If you receive a bid during the recruitment period, you will need to accept your bid through the Campus Director system. Those wishing to participate in the formal recruitment week should select the option for Early Move-In during registration.

Additionally, please be reminded that individuals participating in IFC recruitment CANNOT move into their residence halls prior to August 11, 2024, as the IFC does not have any formally scheduled recruitment events before Sunday, August 11, 2024. Chapters should not request or require that any new member or potential new member arrive on campus prior to their selected move-in dates. All regular (August 14-18) move-in arrangements and registrations should be made through the Office of Housing & Residential Communities (HRC). If you are interested in learning more about your housing options, and to schedule your move-in date, please visit the Office of Housing & Residential Communities website or the Move-In webpage. You can also call the HRC office at either (888) 498-BAMA or (205) 348-6676.
